The lash lift process at Gameela Skin is a simple treatment that takes around 45-minutes. The process begins with a fitting for the appropriately sized silicon rod. This helps me ensure that your lashes are perfectly positioned, allowing for the best results.
I’ll then protect your lower lashes with a soothing gel pad and apply the glue on top of the silicone rod. Once the gel pads are set and the silicone rod with the glue is properly positioned, I’ll brush your lashes onto the rod in their curled position.
Once your lashes are set over the rod, I’ll apply our first solution to your lashes and let it set for about four-minutes. After the solution is set, I’ll remove it and apply a second solution for the same 4-minute timeframe.
The time the solution will be applied depends on the thickness of your lashes, but I’ll be sure to allow for ample setting time depending on your natural lashes. Following your treatment, there is no downtime {other than 48-hours of aftercare recommendations}. You’ll be ready to leave the salon with perfectly luscious lashes that will last anywhere from 6 to 8-weeks!

24-Hours Post Lash Lift
I recommend keeping your lashes as dry as possible for the first 24-hours following your lash lift treatment. Of course, this means avoiding any makeup products, washing your face, or workouts that might involve heavy sweating. Exposing your freshly lifted lashes to water or makeup could interfere with the setting of the curl in the first 24-hours. I tell all my clients to head home post treatment and relax - it’s always nice to have an excuse for a self care night-in!
What To Avoid After Lash Lift?
For the first few days after your lash lift, I recommend avoiding heavy eye makeup or mascara. Mascara and eye makeup usually require makeup remover, and the ingredients in these products can potentially mess with the setting of your curl post-lash lift.
Though This won’t be hard, since your lifted lashes will have such a luscious look! I also recommend sleeping on your back and avoiding your sleeping mask after your lash lift. Sleeping with your face in the pillow or a sleeping mask on could cause your lashes to be flattened and put in a weird position throughout the night, causing your lashes to lose their shape. To keep your lashes lifted and curled, try brushing the lashes up each morning with a spoolie brush. This helps curl the lashes and set them into position for the day.
24-48-hours after your lash treatment, you are safe to apply makeup. For lash lift safe products I recommend Jane Iredale’s Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara and Jane Iredale’s BeautyPrep Face Cleanser to remove eye makeup! You can also apply a lash serum or lash conditioner on your lashes when you brush them in the morning as this will help keep your lashes strong, soft and even lengthen the lifetime of your lash lift.
