Your Trusted Phoenix Lash Lift Artist
Gameela Skin was founded out of a love for helping my clients feel their best and look their best. As the founder of Gameela Skin {hi, it’s me Nancy} I was years into my career as an esthetician by the time I discovered just how misunderstood the skincare and beauty industry is - and without a trusted provider in my community to provide clients with a thorough understanding of how skincare and beauty services could enhance their natural beauty, I knew that the industry would continue to be misunderstood. With my knowledge and experience as an esthetician, and my passion for caring for my community and helping my clients let their natural beauty shine through, I opened up Gameela Skin in 2016 and have been providing clients in the Phoenix area with trusted advice and top of the skin skincare and beauty treatments, such as lash lifts and brow laminations, ever since!
Phoenix Lash Lift Service
A lash lift is a treatment that adds a natural curl to your eyelashes from the base of the lash to the top of the lash, similar to the effects of an eyelash curler. A lash lift uses a semi-permanent solution that will bend your lashes upward, allowing you to see the full length and creating an opening effect on the eyes.
The lash lift is a simple treatment, taking about 45-minutes to deliver you with perfectly enhanced lashes. The process will begin by fitting you with an appropriate sized silicon rod. This silicon rod will allow myself to perfectly position your lashes, meaning the results will be even better than other lifting treatments. A glue will be applied to this rod, then your lashes brushed on top of it. We will apply the first solution to your lashes, for about four minutes, before removing it and applying the second solution for the same amount of time. The application can vary, depending on the length and thickness of your lashes, but I’ll be sure to customize the process to perfectly suit you. After the treatment, your lift should last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks!
The Benefits of Lash Lifts
Unlike some other lash lengthening treatments, lash lifts serve to enhance your natural lashes, leaving you with a natural look that can last longer than other services like eyelash extensions.
In addition to the treatment lasting longer than others, the process for lifting the lashes is also much quicker than the application process for applying lash extensions. Lash lifts take up to 45 minutes, while a lash extension can take 2-hours. Lash lifts also do not require you to change up your skincare routine. Lifted lashes can withstand the use of your regular skin care products, after the first 24 hour period in which you should let them set, while other lash treatments require you to keep your lashes dry and avoid the use of certain products for an extended period of time.
Additionally, lash lifts don’t *just* enhance your natural beauty, but they can also strengthen your lashes. After your lash lift at Gameela Skin, I always apply a single coat of my favorite lash conditioner, to strengthen, lengthen and thicken your lashes. This helps your lashes stay healthy overtime, especially if you come in for a lash lift every 8 weeks.

Lash Lift Aftercare Recommendations
Lash lifts are designed to make your daily life a bit more low maintenance, without having to worry about applying mascara or lengthening your lashes at home, and the aftercare process is no different. I recommend keeping your lashes as dry as possible for 24 hours post-treatment, but there are a few other things you can do too, if you really want to lengthen the life of your lash lift.
While avoiding getting the lashes wet, I also recommend avoiding any makeup products - water and makeup products can interfere with the setting of the curl in the first 24-hours post-treatment. I recommend coming to your lash appointment with a clean face, enjoying the process, and heading home to relax post-treatment. It’s always nice to have an excuse for a self-care night in!
Within the first 48-hours post-treatment, you should avoid mascara products and try to minimize eye makeup, because with eye makeup comes makeup remover. Mascara and makeup remover can also damage the setting process of the lift. Plus, the lash lift has an effortless and natural look that should leave you feeling like you can go mascara-free with your lusciously natural lashes.
Things you can put on your eyelashes a few days post-lift: lash serum. Applying a lash serum or lash conditioner to your lifted lashes will help keep them strong, soft, and healthy. It can also help lengthen the lifetime of your lift!
My last aftercare recommendation is to sleep on your back and avoid using a sleeping mask. Sleeping on your side or stomach post-lift could cause your lashes to be put in a *weird* position for a few hours, as could wearing a sleeping mask that could potentially flatten your lashes against the eye. The pressure can weaken your lash lift or cause the lashes to lose their shape. To keep the lashes lifted and properly shaped, try brushing your lashes upward each morning with a makeup free spoolie brush - this will help with their formation and keep your lashes looking as luscious as the day they were lifted.
