From combatting the effects of aging {sigh - it’s inevitable}, to removing dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, and protecting your skin from the environment and the sun’s harmful rays, there are *many* treatments and products that work to preserve healthy skin. 

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to skincare, which is why I work closely with each of my clients to make sure that their products and treatments are personalized to meet their needs, depending on their skin type and skincare goals.

Custom Facials

In North Scottsdale, where the weather is often dry and hot, many of my clients have challenges with dull, tight-feeling skin. I offer facial treatments for both men and women to help combat these weather-related skincare concerns, among many other skincare goals. 

These treatments are customized to meet your skincare goals, designed to suit your skin type, and include products that will help alleviate your concerns. Depending on your treatment, a facial may include cleansing, steam, extractions, exfoliation, an enzyme treatment, & more - it truly depends on the client. While each treatment may be different, I can confirm that ALL facials include infusing the skin with nourishing ingredients, helping your skin to strengthen and restore the natural barrier that can be broken down over time. After the hour-long treatment, {which I also like to classify as self care}, my clients always leave feeling lighter, refreshed, and relaxed - & yes their skin is always looking radiant. 

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning {one of my favorite treatments} is a safe and extremely effective physical exfoliation process, involving a sterile surgical scalpel which is used to remove the top-most layer of dead skin on your face, along with peach fuzz or any fine hair. Dermaplaning helps your skin look revitalized and refreshed. It also helps your skin absorb other skincare products with ease - allowing you to see supercharged results from your favorite skincare products, both at home and in the salon! 

Dermaplaning works well in tandem with many other treatments I offer at Gameela Skin, especially facials.

Waxing

Hair removal is a very personal choice, but I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to remove any hair, it should be done effectively and be as long-lasting as possible. 

I don’t have time for razor bumps and quick regrowth, and I know you don’t either - you’re busy! That's why I’m a big believer in waxing for hair removal. I use the highest quality of wax to make the process as painless as possible and ensure the best results with little to no irritation. 

While waxing may not be the most *relaxing* of treatments, I always make you as comfortable as possible from the moment you step into the salon, and help you easily say hello to smooth skin {& perfect brows - if that’s what you’re booked for}!

Brow Lamination

The best-kept secret to full and glossy brows, brow lamination involves setting your brows with a lotion to help them stay perfectly shaped, fluffed, and lifted for about 6 weeks. Similar to a perm, but for your brows, lamination helps your brows stay in a set, uniform shape {that we’ll work together to perfect during the lamination process}.

LASH LIFTS

I offer the top-of-the-line Elleebana lash lift treatment, which helps add a natural and luscious curl to your lashes from the base to the top, allowing your full length to be visible. This takes away the hassle of layering on mascara every morning or applying lash extensions for special occasions. I also offer lash tinting to accompany the lift, which helps enhance the color and look of your lengthened lashes even more. Between lash lifts and brow lamination, you can wake up looking and feeling camera-ready simply by enhancing your natural beauty!

Skincare Recommendations for North Scottsdale 

As a Scottsdale girly myself, I understand how the dry heat of Arizona can affect your skin - and necessitates some specialized skincare products. My two biggest tips: stay hydrated and use SPF! 

All skincare products should be selected based on your skin type and concerns, which is why even among hydration and SPF products, I offer several different skincare solutions for my clients to pick from. I use only top-of-the-line products in the salon and provide retail products available for purchase to maintain your results at home.
